You can add unlimited customer accounts in your MSP Plan. By default, nine customer accounts can be added. To add more customer accounts, you must purchase additional customer account add-ons for $9/month (when billed annually) or $10/month. Every new customer account add-on that you purchase is credited with 8 basic monitors. During evaluation period, you can only create up to three customer accounts.
No. You can share the license limit of an MSP account for all your customer accounts. The license will be calculated only in the parent MSP account.
Monitor refers to a resource like a server, website, web application instance or URL that is monitored for uptime and performance. Site24x7 supports many types of monitors, each of these have various performance metrics. For example,a server monitor has metrics like CPU, memory, disk utilization, network usage, eventlogs, and process metrics. Likewise a website monitor has performance metrics like first byte time, last byte time, DNS time, total response time, and uptime status.

Each host operating system (virtual or physical) being monitored counts as one server and consumes a single basic monitor license.
No, you can monitor URL, port, files, directories, Windows event logs and Linux syslogs included in our plan.
The first plugin added for a server monitor is free. After that, each plugin monitor is considered as a basic monitor. Each plugin can have up to 25 attributes.
For example, if you have chosen the Starter Plan, you will be able to monitor 10 servers and 1 plugin for each one of these servers. To add more, buy a basic monitor add on which will let you monitor 10 plugins/month.

Network monitoring licensing is purely based on the number of interfaces that are monitored. It is mandatory to have at least one active interface in order to monitor a device. While ten performance counters per device can be monitored for free, every additional ten is counted as one interface.
An application is any web application, and it is counted differently in different languages that the agent supports.
- In Java, each JVM instance is considered as an application
- In .NET, each IIS server instance is considered as an application
- In Ruby on Rails, each rails server instance is considered as an application
- In PHP, each PHP server instance is considered as an application
RUM licensing is based on page views. Every webpage that is loaded in the browser is considered as a page view, irrespective of the number of resources that are loaded behind. Example, for a single page to load, there are various resource calls for images, CSS, etc, which are not counted in page views. Only the webpage that the user visits is counted as a page view.
Yes, you can buy multiple instances of same or different add-ons.
- Website Monitoring: Polling interval starts at 30 seconds for primary location. Secondary location poll frequency is 30 minutes, by default. Learn more about our polling logic.
- Server Monitoring: Polling interval of 1 minute and 5 minutes, with a heartbeat check done every 1 minute
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM): Polling interval starts at 1 minute
Site24x7 stores the log data collected for log management for a maximum period of 30 days. If you want to increase the retention period, please contact [email protected].
Voice Calls or SMS alerts notify you instantly of a downtime. Alert Credits are used for these. Alert Credits will be added to your account month on month. Any unused credit will not be carried over to the next month. Please note that you have free and unlimited email alerts and push notifications to our mobile apps.
Charges for additional alert credits:
- Approximately $0.3 per Alert Credit for Starter and Free plans.
- Approximately $0.2 per Alert Credit for all the other plans.
Yes. You can pay on a monthly basis as well. However paying yearly gets you a discount of 10%.

You can receive free alerts for a certain number of search queries based on your add-on size. To create alerts for more search queries beyond the free limit, they are priced as one basic monitor for 10 search queries.
